1/12: Great Week!

This week we had an awesome lesson with S, who has been coming to church with his girl friend, K, for a while now. We met them at K's grandma's house and the bishop was there as well. We taught the plan of salvation and he already knew most of it. At the end S explained how he first felt the spirit when H was confirmed during sacrament meeting and then he noticed it again today when K was set apart for her calling in primary. He started to get emotional and then explained that the only way to describe the feeling is like an empty cup being filled. Sister S extended her first baptismal invitation and invited S to be baptized. He responded, "Eventually" and then we asked if we could help him prepare to be baptized near the end of February and he said yes! He offered the closing prayer (it was our first time hearing him pray out loud) and as he prayed their was a long pause before he expressed gratitude for the gospel. Afterwards everyone was in tears; it was an amazing experience!

So all of my pictures today are of Sister S, because she is so cool!

On Friday we had dinner with the J Family! They let us take some pictures with their amazingly huge dog :)

1/5: Happy New Years

RE: Happy New Years!

Hi!!!

We had a fun district meeting this week! Elder L brought snowballs (fluffy stuffed white balls that his mom sent him in the mail) and we had an intense snowball fight! After the meeting was over and we took some district pictures, the elders made a pretty impressive pyramid :D

For the month of January, the Texas Dallas Mission is doing a special emphasis on the Book of Mormon. Every week we have to report to the mission how many people we invited to read the Book of Mormon and how many people our ward invited to read the Book of Mormon. So every time anyone in the ward invites someone they have to send us a text or call us! But to get our ward excited about inviting others we are turning it into a contest to see if the ward can invite more people than us. (They are losing right now, but don't let them know!) We still haven't decided what we have to do if the ward beats us, let me know if you have any ideas!

We have been using the Book of Mormon in all of our contacts with others. When we go tracting we ask everyone to flip open the book randomly and read the first verse they see. On Tuesday night we did this for the first time and every time some one flipped it open, they read a super powerful verse that testified of Christ. But only one person accepted a copy even though they didn't want to learn more from us immediately. And then the last door we knocked that night, a woman flipped open the Book of Mormon and read a super random verse that didn't make any sense out of context. So we tried to explain the context, but were pretty stumped. But then she said something along the lines of, "Wow, this book seems pretty complex, you better tell me more about it.." So we were able to tell her about the Book of Mormon, get her information, and set up a time to see her this upcoming week! So hopefully that goes well :)

January 3rd was Sister S's one month mark! I found out that day that Sister S had never been to Taco Bell before. Can you believe it? So we celebrated by going to Taco Bell!

Also that day we were contacting unknowns in our ward directory and one of the addresses led us to a huge old white mansion in the middle of this old Dallas neighborhood of smaller houses. There were a ton of cars parked there. So I got out, so we could find this person in our ward who apparently lived there. There were these people pulling into the drive way so I asked them, "Do you know Sister so and so? And they didn't so I asked if they wanted to learn more about the Book of Mormon and they respectfully declined. As we were leaving, Sister S said, "You know that was a drug house right?" I didn't, but it made a lot of sense because it was so sketchy... But don't worry about us, we won't go in that neighborhood again!

Have a great week!

Love,
Sister D. Greenall

P.S. Some of my New Years goals for my only full year as a missionary:
8 more baptisms
6,000 contacts (100+ a week)
Finish reading entire Bible
Read Book of Mormon 2 more times (Total 3 times)
Read Jesus the Christ (I read the first chapter today!)
Work on being more obedient and diligent (I'm not disobedient but I can always strive to be more exact! And I'm pretty diligent, but mentally, I catch myself thinking "A nap would be nice right now" a lot :D )

12/29: Christmas!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! This week has been so great!

On Monday night we went caroling with our district at Vitruvian Park which is right across the street from where we live and then on Tuesday night, we went caroling with the Spanish elders at a hospital. It was a really neat experience!

On Christmas Eve, we had dinner at the G family's home! Brother G went on a mission to Peru, so they fed us a delicious Peruvian dinner. Their daughters D and A were excited to wear our name tags and be sister missionaries for the night!

On Christmas, the M family made us a delicious dinner and let us skype our families from their house. I was in a daze after skyping with my mom and dad, it was so unreal! I was sooo sooo happy to talk with them. Afterwards, the M kids were excited to show us their presents. Their son S got a 1,000 piece lego star wars kit, so they recruited us to help them build it.

Have a wonderful New Year!

Sincerely,
Sister D. Greenall

12/22: Pre-Christmas Adventures

Merry Christmas!

This past Tuesday, we had a huge transfer meeting/Christmas party with everyone in our mission! I got assigned to be companions with Sister S, a brand new missionary! I am so excited to be training, we are already having a blast together!

That night we went to Ch and Ca house. Ca is a member and her boyfriend Ch is going be baptized in January! Last week Ch asked if they would need to be married before he got baptized and we let him know that he would. He let us know on Tuesday that on Christmas day he is planning to propose!!!! Yay!

The next day I took Sister S tracting (going door to door) for the first time. One woman answered her door and we explained that we were missionaries and we were sharing a message about keeping Christ the center of our Christmas. She explained that Christmas is a pagan holiday so we asked why she had so many decorations set up (a big blow up Santa and lots of lights). She answered that it was for her husband and we invited her to check out christmas.mormon.org before we left. As we were walking away, she yelled behind us, "SANTA IS PAGAN!" Which seemed super random as we hadn't mentioned Santa Claus at all! Now whenever Sister S and I see a Santa Claus in someone's yard when we are driving around, we yell “Santa is Pagan!” :)

Later that day we delivered a Christmas tree to a family who we are teaching. They have a little apartment and it is usually pretty dark inside, so it was so great to see the reaction of the four kids when we plugged the tree in and the colorful lights illuminated the whole room!

Then around 7pm, we went to visit H, who was baptized in the beginning of December. When we got to his apartmentv the young men and women in our ward were caroling and he wouldn't open his door. We knocked and he let us in and we suggested he show the carolers his laser gun (he is a sci-fi buff and artist and made his own laser gun!) So he opens his door and starts shooting the youth with his ray gun. They were really good sports because as H pointed the laser at them and they saw it on their shirts they would dramatically fall down like they were dead! The other times we have visited H this week, he has mentioned how fun it was when "all those crazy kids" came and sang for him.

Some funny moments from Friday: I drove down a super narrow road that had a dead end, so Sister S had to back me out for 15 minutes or so. This guy saw us and asked if we needed help and we said yes! We were stuck in an apartment complex and didn't know the code to get out. So we used the code he told us but then he drove up behind us and said, "Wrong gate!" so he drove ahead of us to the right gate and used his card to let us out. I'm glad he helped us!

Also, we have been working on three lines of Spanish so that when we meet people who only speak Spanish we can have them write down their information so we can have the Spanish missionaries stop by and teach them. So I wrote out my notes so that when someone needed Spanish I could read it to them. We stopped to talk to someone on the side of the road who didn't speak English, so I gave them my spanish notes so they could read it, assuming they would give it back. But the lady said, "Thank You!" and shooed us away and then we saw her throw the paper away. Noooooo, my spanish notes!!! I'll have to make some more and practice saying it so I'm ready for the next person we meet who only knows spanish :)

And speaking of Spanish, last night we had an amazing lesson with Sister J! Her husband is a member and went on a spanish speaking mission, so he is fluent and she is from Mexico and only speaks Spanish. So we brought Sister B to translate and bear testimony. We watched the Restoration video in Spanish and the spirit was so strong! Sister J is very spiritual (She was a catholic nun for 6 years) and the restoration made a lot of sense to her. She explained that she had to study the bible a long time to become a nun and committed to begin a serious study of the Book of Mormon!

Things are going well here in Dallas 6th!

Have a Merry Christmas!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Sister Greenall

12/15: Painting Fun!

Hello!

This past week I found out that Sister J is getting transferred! We were both surprised, because everyone thought that both of us would stay in Dallas 6th when Sister K went home! So I am excited to meet my new companion tomorrow! It has been an amazing past 5 weeks with Sister K and Sister J, they are both such amazing missionaries that I have learned so much from!

This week has been fun! We painted Prayer rocks with M and A so that we all remember to pray every morning and night!

Also, I started this painting with some of Sister J's paints and worked on it for 15 minutes at a time in the mornings during breakfast and the evenings. It was sitting unfinished, and I finally decided that as a missionary I'm not going to have time to finish this, so this morning I signed it and put it up on the wall!

"10 And it came to pass that I beheld a tree, whose fruit was desirable to make one happy.
11 And it came to pass that I did go forth and partake of the fruit thereof; and I beheld that it was most sweet, above all that I ever before tasted. Yea, and I beheld that the fruit thereof was white, to exceed all the whiteness that I had ever seen.
12 And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy; wherefore, I began to be desirous that my family should partake of it also; for I knew that it was desirable above all other fruit." (1 Nephi 8:10-12)
" I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God." (1 Nephi 11:25)

I know that the love of God is the sweetest thing we can ever taste!

Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely,
Sister D. Greenall

12/8: Howdy Y'all :D

Hi!

This week H was baptized! He has been working with missionaries for over a year, and I happen to be the last one that got to be a part of teaching him before the big day. There were about 20 other missionaries there to support him!

Also, we met a guy named M while tracting earlier in the week. He had a lot experience with previous missionaries in East Texas about 20 years ago. He said that one day a missionary was helping him with his yard and he asked the missionaries, "Do the Holy Garments really protect you?" and when the elder responded yes, he stabbed him with a nail... Ahh!! M proudly responded that the missionary wasn't quite protect from that! So hopefully we don't get stabbed by any nails, because M agreed to let us teach him the Restoration lesson, so we'll see how that goes!

We have about 10 investigators here in Dallas 6th, so we are spending a lot of time teaching lessons which is really nice :) And we hit our zone standards this past week!

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Sister D. Greenall

12/1: Thanksgiving Week!

Yay, it's the Holiday Season!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas time are especially great for missionaries. Everyone is just so happy! The church is doing an awesome campaign called "He is the Gift" and it is all about remembering that Jesus Christ is the greatest gift. There is an amazing video for it on Christmas.Mormon.org . Definitely check it out, if you haven't seen it yet! It has been fun sharing the video with all the people we meet.

For Thanksgiving, we went to the W family's for an amazing turkey dinner at lunch time! We were nice and full the rest of the day while we went tracting and met a lot of people, because everyone was actually home! That night we spent some time wrapping Book of Mormons to give as gifts and writing the link christmas.mormon.org on all of our pass along cards.

On Friday, we had plans to wake up at 4:00 am to contact people while they were on their way or in lines for black Friday shopping, but all the stores we planned to go to, weren't busy at all! We had a goal to contact 200 people that day, so we were disappointed when the black Friday contacting idea was a bust. That night at the park right by our apartment there was a huge lighting ceremony with Christmas lights everywhere and a live band playing. There were so many people everywhere, the three of us talked to 339 people there! It was really fun because everyone wants to talk about Jesus Christ when it is Christmas time!

A funny moment on Saturday: we had a lesson with someone we had met a couple days before and during the lesson Sister K made an analogy about how the Book of Mormon was like a chocolate cake because you won't know it's good until you try it. Then I added to the analogy by saying that just like you only need one bite of a cake to know it is good, you can read a small part of the Book of Mormon and know it is good. Then Sister J compared the different parts of saying a prayer to a sandwich and the person we were teaching asked, "Are you all hungry?" And I replied and unintentionally created a pun, "No, we are just on a roll." We couldn't stop laughing, even though it was way past being funny and just annoying. The poor person probably thinks we are crazy :)

Things are going well in Dallas 6th ward, H, someone who has been taking the lessons from missionaries for over a year, is getting baptized this Saturday!

Have a great week!

Sincerely,
Sister Greenall

11/24: Haircut and Our Apartment

I got a hair cut last Monday! My hair is still growing out longer, but now I have bangs! This is a picture of me with my hair up.

Here is another picture with C who cut our hair. It was funny because Sister K asked for a hair cut to her shoulders and then C cut it up to her chin instead, which was an extra 4 inches! But it still looks really good and Sister K really likes it :D

Here some pictures of our apartment, also the other picture shows the street we live on. We live on the right and on the left, right across the street there are multi-million dollar apartments which are super nice! We have some members who live there. Geographically I am so close to Plano, but it is completely different. There is a wide variety of incomes and ages. Our ward gets the most help when it comes to our stakes fast offerings, but we probably have some of the richest people too. There are a bunch of really young couples and their little babies and a bunch of really old folks. There are barely any yw/ym or older primary kids.

This week we got to try some authentic Louisiana Gumbo from some of our investigators!

Then later in the week we had banana boats!

I just realized, that I am sending a lot of random small e-mails and pictures, but not working on a long one to send out... So I'll send really detailed letter next time!

Love,
Sister D. Greenall

11/17: Bye Bye Plano

Hi Friends!

This week has been quite the adventure!

On Monday night I got the news that I would be getting transferred the next morning! I was sad to leave my awesome companion Sister D and all the amazing people I had met in Plano, but excited to start a new adventure. I went to the transfer meeting and was very surprised to find out this transfer I will be in a trio in the Dallas 6th ward with Sister K and Sister J! We live in an apartment and have a car, which is completely new to me compared to living with members and biking in Plano!

That same night on Tuesday, the 11th of November, was L's baptism!!!

Lucky for me, Sister K and Sister J changed their plans for that night so I could make it to the baptism. We were late, but made it just in time for me to help with a musical number (playing guitar for "There is Sunshine in My Soul Today") and then watch L be baptized!

We also had Zone conference this past Friday, which is always a super uplifting experience!! I am spiritually recharged! This picture is when we split into smaller classrooms.

Have a great week!!

Love,
Sister D. Greenall

11/10: Hi!

Hi Everyone!

This week has been great! Life is good!

We met with L on Tuesday and Thursday. He is getting baptized on Tuesday! Yay!

On Saturday, we went with the E/V family to make some treats and deliver them to their neighbors! They gave out 6 Book of Mormons too!

We aren't going to find out about transfers tomorrow until after 9pm tonight, so we'll see what happens!

Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Sister Danica Greenall

P.S. Here's an awesome Ensign article by Sister A (who we live with!):

Seeing Beyond Myself
By Elizabeth Benac Ashurst

Some time ago my husband and I prayerfully decided it was time for him to make a career change. So we sold our home to raise money to start a new business. Soon it became clear that the business was a failure. Our savings were gone, and we were in financial crisis. Besides our pressing and worrisome debts, we were concerned about providing for our children, two school-age and two preschoolers. Pregnant with our fifth child, I was physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained. It was a dark time in our lives.

One day the phone rang. The voice on the other end said, “We have a family in need in our ward. Would you please take a casserole to them for their dinner tonight?”

Instinctively I said, “Yes.” Then I hung up the phone and cried. We had been discreet about our problems—perhaps too discreet. Few knew of our own troubled situation.

Through my tears I went to the kitchen and prepared a casserole from the sparse ingredients I found in my cupboard. Then I loaded the baby into the stroller, gathered the other children, and, balancing the casserole on the handle of the stroller, started the mile walk to the home of the family in need.

As we walked, I felt hurt inside. It seemed unfair that I had been asked to help someone else when my own need was also great. We finally reached our destination and were greeted by a distraught family member, who informed me that their child had just been killed in a tragic accident.

In an instant my perspective changed. As I turned to walk home, I was overwhelmed by the sweet spirit of the Comforter. I realized my adversity and affliction would be but a small moment (see D&C 121:7). My husband would find a job; we would get through this. I looked at my children running circles around the stroller. What a blessing they were! And how grateful I was for my good husband—worthy to hold the priesthood, trying so hard to solve our problems, and loving me so much! I had a home to return to, even if we did not own it. I had food in my cupboards, even if it did not provide the menu I would prefer. And I had caring family support.

But most of all, I was grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who, despite my own pressing needs, had extended to me an opportunity to serve another. How little I had given, and how much I had received.

11/3: Halloween!

We had a super fun time passing out candy and pass along cards out at the Trunk or Treat! The other missionaries in the Legacy chapel dressed up in the cowboys and Indians theme too, and the members here really got a kick out of it :)

10/27: Flag Football and Thank You Cakes

Hi Y'all (I am actually using "y'all" occasionally now...oh no!)

Last Saturday was a fun day! We brought L (far right) to play on our 6th ward flag football team! I even played for the last two minutes; there's me on the far left! All I did was run back and forth but it was a lot of fun. 6th ward dominated!

The majority of the time I cheered for our team with Sister D and T! Next week 6th ward is playing 8th ward, which are both of the wards we serve in! It will be hard to choose which team to cheer for, I guess we will just have to cheer for everyone!

Then we went to 8th ward's Super Saturday learned how to decorate cakes! I decorated the cake with the blue border.

This week we had some awesome lessons, but we also ran into this guy who was so dead set on convincing us that we should only believe in the Bible and not any other revealed scripture and that God doesn't work in the same way as he did during Bible times. All we could do is bear testimony that God is still a God of miracles and he continues to reveal truths to us just like He did in the accounts of the Bible. Then while I was reading in the Book of Mormon I happened to read these verses that confirmed my belief that miracles are still happening today:

"And again I speak unto you who deny the revelations of God, and say that they are done away, that there are no revelations, nor prophecies, nor gifts, nor healing...Behold I say unto you, he that denieth these things knoweth not the gospel of Christ; yea, he has not read the scriptures; if so, he does not understand them... O all ye that have imagined up unto yourselves a god who can do no miracles, I would ask of you, have all these things passed, of which I have spoken? Has the end come yet? Behold I say unto you, Nay; and God has not ceased to be a God of miracles." (Mormon 9:10-19)

Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Sister D. Greenall

10/20: Another Great Week!

Howdy ya'll!

I was so excited to read today that my sister Erica, who has been serving as a missionary in San Antonio for the last 13 months, finally got her visa and is going to the Brazil Belem Mission where she was originally called! Wow! I am glad she gets to go to Brazil, but I'm also really glad she had some time in Texas. It has been pretty special for me as a missionary in Texas to have my sister be a missionary here too. I am so thankful for her wonderful example to me!

This week on Tuesday and Thursday, we met with L, along with our ward mission leader Brother T. L previously had experience with some other sister missionaries and even went to church with them about a year ago, so when we met him while tracting, he was really receptive! We gave him a Book of Mormon and when he found out he already had one at home, he tried to give the second one to one of his friends at work.

All of our lessons with him have gone so well because he already has a solid foundation on Christ and is so full of faith! One of our lessons with him, we were sitting outside at a picnic table and someone came up to us and asked what we were doing and if he could sit down with us. We gladly said he could join us. As this other man asked us questions, it was fun to see L answering some of the questions that even stumped us and defended our standards.

We were super happy to see him at church yesterday, he even thanked one of the speakers for their talk after sacrament meeting and participated in Gospel Principles class. We had to leave early to get to another ward, but later Brother T sent us a text telling us that L had asked if he could get baptized on an upcoming date, and the date he asked for is a week earlier than the date we were originally going to extend! I am excited to see L get baptized, and make that first and vital covenant with God!

This week we also had the chance to have another recent convert lesson with Tyler. We have been meeting with him and his dad every week since his baptism at different members' home, and it has been awesome to see them continue to support each other and stay active in the gospel!

The members in Plano 6 and 8 continue to take such good care of us! They always make sure we are well fed and have rides to our meetings. They are some of the kindest people you could ever meet! I just love them more and more the longer I stay here! I attached some pictures from when Sister L took us out to Sushi! Yum!

Have a great week, I love being a missionary!
Sincerely,
Sister D. Greenall

"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." -Helamen 5:12

10/13: Hi!

This week was sooooooo great! Sorry, I don't have much time to write out an e-mail! Here are some pictures from when the whole mission got together to watch Meet the Mormons!

Here is Sister Da and I with Sister S and Sister P, they are awesome!

10/6: General Conference Week!

Hi You All! (I'm not converted to y'all yet, but now saying "you guys" just sounds weird!)

This week multiple people (two of them are now new investigators!) have asked us "Do you really believe this or were you just born into it?" We explain how much this gospel has blessed our lives and how we want to share those blessings with others, but really I want to say: "Yes, I was born in this church, but if I didn't believe it with all my heart, I wouldn't be a missionary!" Honestly, being a missionary is really hard. We are sleep deprived and in a lot of high stress situations. People can be pretty rude to us and we almost get hit by cars while on our bikes pretty frequently. But all of that is nothing compared to all of the miracles we see! As missionaries of the Lord's restored gospel, we have so many days where everything falls into place. Last Thursday we rode our bikes to get to an appointment and then we found out that the person wasn't there. It was discouraging because we rode our bikes 5 miles just to find out our appointment canceled. But we tracted in that apartment complex for a little bit and met someone who was very interested in what we were doing as missionaries and agreed to read the Book of Mormon and let us come back and talk about it! We later ran into our original appointment who said we could come back another day. It was awesome to know even though our original plans didn't work out Heavenly Father's plan was even better.

Also on Tuesday, we met with one of our new investigators for the second time. He wanted to get baptized a couple years ago when he was 17 but his parents wouldn't support him even though they weren't against it. Now he is 19 and asked if we could start coming every Tuesday. We read the first chapter of the Book of Mormon together. He was impressed with the last verse of chapter one, Nephi 1:20: "But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance." He kept talking about how that last line really resonated with him. When we asked him to say the closing prayer, he did! He asked God to get help with his work schedule so that he can free up his Sundays and go to church. I was so touched by how genuine and sincere and filled with faith his prayer was.

On Saturday and Sunday we got to watch General Conference and it was awesome!! You can watch it at gc.lds.org. One of our investigators in 8th ward was watching it. He is very well versed in the Bible and we have not been seeing him that much as he hasn't been progressing, but he watched all four sessions of conference and asked a lot of questions about it over text! I hope his heart is softening after hearing those inspired messages and he will let us help him on his spiritual journey!

We had so much fun watching conference with the R family! They are the nicest, funnest group of people you could ever meet! All the members here in Plano take such good care of us!

Here we are with Sister R!

Sister D and I just made ourselves at home in their house :)

The prophet and the apostles are all looking pretty old, seeing the prophet needing help to stand up and Elder Packer looking so tired made me sad, but like King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon, God will support his leaders:
"For even at this time, my whole frame doth tremble exceedingly while attempting to speak unto you; but the Lord God doth support me, and hath suffered me that I should speak unto you."
-Mosiah 2: 30

It is fun to read chapters 2-4 in Mosiah with the perspective that is just like General Conference. It is cool to see how the people prepare to hear the words. There are so many principles in preparing for conference that we can apply in our own lives!

Being a missionary is AWESOME!! Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely,
Sister D. Greenall

P.S. The Meet The Mormons movie is coming out soon! David Archuleta has an awesome song in the soundtrack that you download for free at: meetthemormons.com/glorious

9/29: Be a PRO for God

Hi Everyone!

The beginning of the week was a little rough, a lot of our appointments canceled and tracting was hard too. The video I attached shows how excited Sister D and I were when some actually answered the door :) But the end of the week was super good.

On Thursday, we went to specialized training (half the mission was there!) We learned about the importance of Praying, Reading the scriptures, and Obeying the commandments everyday. All of us got a ring the says PRO and on the inside it says, "I promise to pray, read, and obey, everyday!" Then we had 3 different training on how to make sure we, ourselves, are always praying, reading, and obeying and how to encourage others to do the same!

On Friday, we met a family who was a referral that the Spanish Sisters had met. They are super excited to learn more about coming closer to Christ! I am excited to meet with them more! I was talking a lot to the mom and answering her questions, and then Sister D looked right at her eleven year old son and said directly to him, "This is for you too, Jesus loves children and he wants you to do this along with your mom." He looked so happy, and had teary eyes. I love moments when the Spirit is there with us and everyone can feel it!

On Saturday, we got to go to the stake center to watch the General Women's Conference! You can watch it at gc.lds.org It was really good, all the speakers had such amazing messages, and it was awesome to know that all the women of the church were watching it all around the world at the same time!

On Sunday, T, who was baptized last week, was welcomed as a new member of our ward. Our Bishop got emotional talking about how much T had been a good influence in the ward. Everyone loves T. :)

Elder Zivic ( https://www.lds.org/church/leader/claudio-d-zivic?lang=eng ) of the seventy was at church in Plano 6th ward last Sunday visiting his young married son (who is one of our awesome ward missionaries!!) My companion and I sang with two elders during church and then Elder Zivic got to end the meeting with his testimony. He shook our hands and thanked us for all we do as missionaries, it was awesome!!

This morning I found this scripture I really like when reading in 2 Corinthians:
“Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.”
-2 Corinthians 2:24 I love helping people find joy by adding to their faith in Christ!

It was transfer week and I am happy to be staying in Plano with Sister D for another 6 weeks! I love being a missionary!!!

Sincerely,

Sister D. Greenall
